This post from BroBible.com (I guess dude-bro.com was taken) profiles the 20 Most Intimidating Fictional Sharks Of All Time in an attempt to bring shark week to a close. Although they did include the smart sharks from Deep Blue Sea, the Dharma shark and Jaws, somehow the Megalodons from Shark Attack 3 and the Meg book series were omitted, calling into question the validity of the entire list. Still, I have not lost faith in the journalistic integrity of BroBible. Long live the internet. Check out the full list at their site here.

LONDON—At a press conference Tuesday, 89-year-old Rose Biggin, a grandmother from the Camden Town neighborhood of North London, announced that she was in fact the internationally renowned graffiti artist known only as Banksy. ”Those drawings? Oh, yes, those are mine,” said the diminutive octogenarian, who admitted to scaling buildings and climbing fences. . .

I have always been an avid supporter of writing, encouraging people to write everything short of twitter shorthand, ransom notes and parking tickets. If you are interested in getting more involved in the world of writing, be sure to check out the Guide to Literary Agents blog. This site keeps you up to date on the ins and outs of the writing business and offers a lot of cool contests, like the “Dear Lucky Agent” Contest: Fantasy and Science Fiction they have going on right now.
Do they work on bikes? If so, I’ll buy twelve. In the larger version you can really get the full effect. There is no Photoshop at work here.

Today’s website being profiled is thereifixedit.com, a site which compiles photos of people’s half hearted attempts to fix something, like the common but often not spoken about problem of building doors three feet off the ground. This site is definitely a time waster, a procrastinator and very redneck heavy, but that why you’re here, right?
Our good friends over at ActionBooth are teaming up with the Bicardi tour next week, so if you live in Dallas, Atlanta, Washington, Detroit or Los Angeles (Sorry Canada, until you learn to jump, you don’t get to participate in dynamic photography, you just get to continue being photographed doing regular Canadian things like sitting around enjoying free health care and reading exciting travel brochures about places not in Canada), stop by to show your support, jump for the first time and meet the crew.
Either way, don’t miss your chance to participate in this innovative photography experience if ActionBooth is invading your sleepy berg or risk ending up with an underwhelming picture for your facebook profile.
By far the best, scariest and unquestionably patriotic (just go with it for now) week of the year, Shark Week returns to the Discovery Channel this week and finally gives you a reason to dust off your DVR, steal your neighbor’s cable and go down to the Shedd Aquarium to shake your head disapprovingly at these large garbage compacters parading as fish.
Check out Discovery’s 10’s most jaw dropping shark scenes for a little warmup.

Wilt Chamberlain, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Andre The Giant in the same photo. Seriously, try to find a better photo in the entire history of photography. This picture even beats this ole’ classic.
And for good measure, here is Singaporian illustrator’s William Chua’s rendition of Mario and Bowser time traveling to fight dinosaurs, which is pretty much ripped straight from a re-occuring dream I have, except Mario and Bowser are replaced by Rocky and Shia LeBeouf.
