Isaiah Thomas Trades Eddie Curry To Globetrotters For Guy Who Throws Confetti At Crowd

Raising further questions to his job security, Isaiah Thomas made another controversial move today, when he traded star player Eddy Curry to the Harlem Globetrotters for Edward “Smooth Moves” Jenkins. Jenkins, commonly know for his wacky in game antics, most notably throwing confetti at referees and unsuspecting crowd members, will join a Knicks team greatly in need of change.

Thomas defended this move, saying that, “What the Knicks were really missing was the laughter of children. And what better way to bring the laughter of children to Madison Square Garden, than by bringing a man who specializes in prop based comedy to the team.” Adding, “Never have I seen one man bring such joy with nothing more than a plastic bucket.”

“Smooth Moves” Jenkins, who played his college ball at Michigan State in the 70’s, is welcoming the change of scenery. The 54 year old power forward reminded critics that he is sporting an undefeated professional record of 560-0. “I haven’t lost a game in my professional career, my record speaks for itself. And just because I’m sporting two surgically repaired knees and early signs of Alzheimers, doesn’t mean that I can’t propel this team to the next tier that it needs to win a championship.”
