Barry Bonds, “I’m Sorry, All These Steroids Make Me Really Angry”

Giants slugger Barry Bonds made news today, when in a rather unprecedented gesture, he apologized to the media and fans for his anti-social and turbulent behavior over the years. Saying, “I really have to apologize to the media and my fan base, but with the copious amounts of steroids I do, it’s hard not to be angry, like all the time.”

“Roid Rage,” one of the common side effects of repeated anabolic steroid use, is categorized by random outbursts of violence and anger. Bonds found himself commonly suffering these symptoms, explaining, “I often wanted to hit things and get in fights with people because of my steroid related rage. Most times I would end up punching Jeff Kent in the dugout, which usually made me feel a lot better.”
